Refund Policy
Who handles payments
Polar (Polar Software, Inc.) is our merchant of record and reseller. Polar takes your payment, sends invoices and receipts, handles sales tax and VAT, and processes refunds. Polar's buyer terms also apply.
Cancel at any time
You can cancel a paid plan whenever you want. Your plan stays active until the end of the month or year you have paid for, then stops. There are no cancellation fees.
To cancel, use Manage subscription on your account page, which opens Polar's customer portal, or email hello@heimdl.ai with your account name. Your access continues until the end of the period you have paid for.
Refunds
First payment. If Heimdl is not right for you, ask within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full.
Annual plans. If you cancel an annual plan, you can ask for a pro rata refund of the unused part of the year.
Monthly renewals. Other monthly payments are not refunded, but you keep access until the end of the paid month.
Downgrades. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect from your next billing period.
If we end your plan. If we shut down Heimdl, discontinue your paid plan, or close your account when you have not broken our Terms, we refund the prepaid, unused part of your plan. If we close an account for a serious breach of our Terms, fees already paid are not refunded, unless the law requires it.
Payment disputes. Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank or card issuer. While a dispute is open, we may pause paid features on the account.
Checkout opens only once Heimdl has your tests running on at least one repository, so you never pay for a setup that never worked. Your first payment is taken at checkout, and the 14 days for a full refund start on that date.
How to ask for a refund
Email hello@heimdl.ai with your account name and the email on your receipt, or contact Polar support from your receipt. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are paid back by Polar to your original payment method.
Your legal rights
This policy does not limit any rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
